About Boofa

Lulu “Boofa” Mire is a national award-winning clown from Houston (Clear Lake), Texas. With over a decade of theatre experience under her belt, Lulu decided it was time to follow her truest passion: clowning. After earning a B.S. degree in Creative Advertising from UT Austin and completing a theatre program at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, Lulu graduated in 2009 from the Cheerful Clown Alley Clown School where she learned the basics of clowning/clown history, clown skills, and how to embrace her red nose.
