Victorious at Hudson’s 1st Birthday Party!

Hudson had a super cute monster-themed party to celebrate his first birthday. There was face painting fun, and there was even our hometown celebrity, Victor. Victor was just in a Super Bowl commercial celebrating his story. It was great meeting him and painting his design vision. 😉
Balloons by Boofa, again!

Boofa kinda stopped making balloons three years ago to devote her wrists to holding her baby! And guess what?! Boofa is twisting again! Already had the pleasure of twisting at Zachary’s 1st birthday + Skylar’s 4th birthday party!!! It was great celebrating with them! Boofa face painted at Skylar’s birthday party before when she turned the big 2! 🎈
Balloon Decor + Family!

I helped my friend Teri with balloon decor last weekend for PetCo’s grand opening of Thrive. I helped my friend, and my family helped me! Ha! Enjoyed meeting Dad in the mornings to check on the structures, and he helped me replace balloons! And my daughter helped ensure quality control. 😂 It was a great introduction to the decor world!

I’m baaaack! Boofa is healing up and slowly getting back to having fun! (Broken foot and shoulder! Beware of driveways and sippy cups!! The good news is the funny bone stayed in tact!) Here’s a free-hand Mike Tyson tattoo design face painting to welcome me back into the ring!
A Beyond-the-Paint Moment
30 AprClowning isn’t only to be funny. It gives you permission to be silly, yes, but it also gives you a platform for so much more. Here is a simple dialogue between Boofa and an almost five-year-old boy about to get his face painted:
Boofa: Hi! What’s your name?
Kid: Justin.
Justin’s mom begins to cry. She then shared with me that Justin is autistic, and I (Boofa) was the first person he had EVER responded to.
I don’t know why he responded to me, but I will remember that moment forever. It’s moments like these that make me feel so strongly about what I do! As Autism Awareness Month comes to a close, I hope we all learn a little bit more about this condition.
I am so grateful for meeting my buddy Justin!
Dinosaur party!
23 AprBoofa had a lot of fun at Leonardo’s 2nd birthday party – dinosaur theme!!! We danced and roared to “We Are the Dinosaurs,” and we made a magical abra-ca-dino birthday cake! Boofa painted Lots of dinosaurs… Sometimes literally!!! (See pic 😂 🎨) :🔴)
